Aumas Construction Ltd was founded in 2005 by Mat Thomas, having gained a wealth of experience in commercial and residential construction. 

Aumas’ mission is to provide a premium building service for a competitive price.

Over the years the company has grown and evolved to be a leader in all areas of construction and now has 20 skilled employees.

Matthew Thomas

Mat is carrying on a family tradition and is now the third generation of his family working in construction. After graduating with a BA Hons and MA, he started his career over 30 years ago building and developing property in Leicestershire.

Aumas was founded in 2005 and as Managing Director of Aumas, Mat has focused on creating a premium building and construction company. His vast experience, positive approach and his emphasis on safety and high quality craftsmanship has been the force behind Aumas’ ongoing success.

Carl Edmondson

After graduating from York University in 1988 with a degree in Economics, Carl has spent his career working in Finance and has vast experience within the construction industry working with national contractors like Balfour Beatty, Kier, Interserve & Wates.  

Joining Aumas in 2019 as Finance Director Carl manages the logistics and budget of every project and assists in company-wide planning.  

Mick Bolland

Mick started his career as an apprentice joiner in 1979 and since then has gained 40 years’ experience within the building and construction industry. Mick joined Aumas in 2014 as the Contracts Manager.

Mick spends the majority of his days on site, organising the team, maintaining the highest quality of craftsmanship and keeping the projects running on time and on budget.

Aumas directly employs a team of builders and craftsmen with many years of experience between them. We also work with a tried and tested team of sub contractors. Most have been with our company for several years and we make it our mission to retain excellent staff. That way we can be confident our team is delivering the quality standards that you expect.

Reliability

As well as quality, we pride ourselves on the speed and reliability of our building service. We are punctual and reliable and work six days a week to get the job done as quickly as possible.
